We were commissioned to provide external arts and crafts style hardwood doors and windows for a large new build in Shropshire. This included incorporating delicate glazing bars which were used to maintain the look and feel of the design, alongside some large panelled doors.

All joinery was crafted in African idigbo timber for optimum durability and stability and was supplied with double glazing and thermal seals for the latest thermal efficiency.

The whole house has an arts and crafts theme following the movement by William Morris and John Ruskin in the 1880s. This meant we had to ensure all joinery and ironmongery was in keeping with this. The clients chose hand forged black iron ironmongery for the casement stays and fasteners on all windows.
